A module regarding the topic of preventing and reducing children's exposure to pesticides. The objectives of this module are to help participants identify how children are exposed to pesticides, describe to participants the negative health effects of pesticides and why children are more exposed, and to help participants identify how they can reduce children's exposure to pesticides in their community. This document notes the financial support received from the Kingdom of the Netherlands through FAO’s Multi-Partner Programme Support Mechanism (FMM).

This compendium of good practices outlines some measures that were innovative, relevant/responsive, efficient, effective, ethical, sustainable and replicable. The project exceeded its targeted number of beneficiaries and made significant gains in addressing some of the root causes of child labor in cocoa growing communities. The purpose of this compendium is to provide the community of practice with a set of approaches that yield results.

The document is an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) tool to improve the working conditions of young workers of 16 and 17 years of age in the tea sector of Rwanda. It aims to help young workers in tea sector to achieve two main objectives: prevention of main risks associated to OSH hazards in tea plantations and tea factories; and performing on-site management of OSH accidents while waiting for support.

This report presents findings on occupational safety and health conditions in Liberia's agriculture sector based on a rapid assessment conducted in Margibi, Montserrado and Nimba Counties in June and July 2015.

The overall objective of this research is to assess the compliance of tea factories and tea cooperatives with the national and international occupational health and safety (OSH) standards focusing on particularities of young workers. The research findings aim to inform national OSH guidelines in the tea sector in Rwanda.
