This report is the outcome of collaborative effort to accurately measure and report on the issue of child labor and hazardous child labor in the cocoa growing areas of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. The first objective of this study is to assess and measure changes in the prevalence of working children, children in child labor, and children in hazardous work in the cocoa growing areas of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana between 2008/09 and 2018/19. The second objective of the study is to assess interventions implemented between 2008/09 and 2018/19. The final objective of this project is to provide accurate point estimates of child labor and hazardous child labor in the cocoa producing areas of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana for 2018/19. |

Fostering Accountability in Recruitment for Fishery Workers (FAIR Fish). Pilot Model of Responsible Recruitment Manual.

The Responsible Recruitment Pilot Model is intended to serve as a model for a company-led action to address forced labor and human trafficking in the recruitment process, and for recruiters’ compliance with recruitment policies and procedures. This manual will enable small and medium-sized companies, which account for more than 99 percent of seafood processors in Thailand, and recruiters to embed a responsible recruitment process in their practice. This document also includes a variety of tools to help facilitate due diligence processes relevant to labor recruitment. |

A mixed-methods study aimed at determining whether there is child labor in sugarcane production, beyond isolated cases, characterizing the work carried out by children, identify factors that contribute to preventing or encourage their involvement in sugarcane production, and provide recommendations to industry and policy makers. The study combined non-probabilistic and qualitative quantitative methods. |

This report presents the joint research findings and conclusions on child labour, forced labour and human trafficking linked to global supply chains from the ILO, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), under the aegis of Alliance 8.7. It is the first attempt by international organizations to measure child labour, forced labour and human trafficking in global supply chains. |

CLEAR II will support the adoption of this program by training inspectors who will use it to train others on child labor issues, as well as by working with MITRADEL to develop training plans and integrate them to train future labor inspectors. |
