The Watoto ni Hazina Project seeks to strengthen the capacity of key stakeholders in the Untied Republic of Tanzania to address child labor and promote acceptable conditions of work in artisanal and small-scale gold mining.

This project aims to improve occupational safety and health and counter discrimination and sexual violence and harassment in the informal economy, public service and hazardous sectors.

The goal of this project was to research, identify, and develop indicators of progress being made in high-risk countries to eliminate child labor and forced labor in the cocoa sector; to research best practices utilized by the governments and the cocoa and chocolate industry, and to research the participation of worker organizations in addressing child labor and forced labor in the cocoa sector.

The Elevating Women’s Participation in the Workplace in West Africa project seeks to address discrimination and sexual violence and sex-based harassment in the world of work in the mining, palm oil, and rubber sectors in Liberia, and in the oil sector in Nigeria.

The Madagascar Shines project aims to reduce child labor in mica-producing communities in the Anôsy region of Madagascar through community engagement, coordination, and capacity building.

The project aims to build the capacity of civil society organizations around the world to advance the fight against child labor by raising the voices of workers, advocates, and other civil society representatives.

This project seeks to promote greater compliance with labor law and standards for acceptable conditions of work, including occupational safety and health, hours of work, and wages in the DRC’s mining, distribution, and construction/public works sectors.
