The U.S. Department of Labor's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program is a multi-year $1.9 billion initiative to increase the ability of community colleges to help workers eligible for training under the TAA for Workers program, as well as a broad range of other adults. While the four rounds of grants funded by Congress have been awarded, grants are active through September 30, 2018. The impact of TAACCCT will extend long beyond that date, through the programs and practices sustained by grantees, the curriculum and other resources available on SkillsCommons.org, and evaluations that tell the story of what grantees learned.

Round Four (Period of Performance: October 2014 - September 2018)
The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY13-10) for the fourth Round of the TAACCCT program was announced on April 16, 2014, and closed on July 7, 2014. Grants totaling $451 million were awarded on September 29, 2014. The 71 grants included nearly 270 community colleges and initially engaged more than 400 employers nationally.

Round Three (Period of Performance: October 2013 - September 2017)
The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY 12-10) for the third Round of the TAACCCT program was announced on April 19, 2013, and closed on June 18, 2013 for Single Institution Applicants and July 3, 2013 for Consortium Applicants. Grants totaling $474.5 million were awarded on September 18, 2013. The 57 grants included 190 community colleges in partnership with local employers.

Round Two (FY 2012)
The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY 11-08) for the second Round of the TAACCCT program was announced in the Federal Register on February 24, 2012, and closed on May 24, 2012. Grants totaling $500 million were awarded on September 19, 2012. The 79 grants included 330 community colleges in partnership with local employers.

Round One (FY 2011)
The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY 10-03) for the first Round of the TAACCCT program was announced on January 20, 2011, and closed on April 21, 2011. Grants totaling $500 million were awarded on September 26, 2011. The 49 grants included more than 360 community colleges in partnership with local employers.
