NEW ORLEANS, LA – The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) in New Orleans, Louisiana, will host a webinar on Aug. 13, 2020, to help employers and employees understand provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and other requirements during the current coronavirus pandemic.
The webinar will focus on the INA and the H-2A and H-2B visa program certifications. WHD encourages employers, employees, human resource professionals, attorneys and other interested stakeholders to attend.
Representatives from the Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Department of Justice’s Immigrant and Employee Rights Section, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement Worksite Enforcement, the Louisiana Workforce Commission and the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation will also participate in the event.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited and registration is required.
