Topics addressed in the videos include:

Davis - Bacon Coverage: To ensure compliance, it's important to be able to identify contracts that are subject to the Davis-Bacon labor standards at the earliest possible point in the contracting process, but such contracts can sometimes be difficult to recognize. This video will help participants recognize when contracts are subject to the Davis-Bacon labor standards and how to ensure that such contracts include the applicable labor standards clauses.

Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations and Conformances: Knowing which wage determinations are applicable to a Davis-Bacon project and understanding the information available in those wage determinations is a crucial component of Davis-Bacon compliance. This video will discuss how to interpret the information contained within wage determinations, how to identify the wage determination(s) applicable to a particular project (including when multiple wage determinations are applicable to a project), and how to request additional classifications be added to such wage determinations.

Davis-Bacon Compliance Principles: Performance on Davis-Bacon contracts requires compliance with various labor standards provisions. This video will discuss contractors' obligations under the Davis-Bacon labor standards, such as identifying the site(s) of work, understanding who is considered a labor or mechanic, recognizing how the labor standards apply to apprentices and trainees, and correctly paying the applicable prevailing wages, including fringe benefits.

Davis-Bacon Certified Payrolls: This video will cover why contractors are required to submit certified payrolls on Davis-Bacon contracts, what information must be included on certified payrolls, and how to review certified payrolls to identify potential compliance issues.

CWHSSA and FLSA Overtime: Although the Davis-Bacon Act itself does not require the payment of overtime, CWHSSA and the FLSA both require the payment of additional half-time at the applicable rate for hours worked over forty in the workweek to covered workers. This video will discuss coverage under CWHSSA and FLSA, and contractor's obligations under these acts.

Investigation Procedures and Remedies: Over the course of a project, ensuring compliance with the Davis-Bacon labor standards sometimes requires oversight. This video will explain the process of a Davis-Bacon investigation, including the steps that need to be taken to identify violations, and the remedies that can be applied when violations are found.
