Compliance Assistance Seminars
The United States Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), and the Atlanta-Nashville District Office invites you to attend one of five Compliance Assistance Conferences being held in 2024. The educational conferences are designed for union officers, staff, and other interested union officials. The Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) topics covered will be the same as those presented by OLMS during the 2023 conferences. The conferences are specifically useful for individuals unable to attend last year’s conferences, to include new officers and those who would like a refresher. The conferences will cover the following topics:
- Overview of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959
- Financial Recordkeeping and Internal Controls
- Union Officer Elections
- LM Reporting and Electronic Filing System (EFS)

OLMS Denver-St. Louis District Office
Compliance Assistance Seminars
The United States Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), and the Denver-St. Louis District Office will conduct a virtual compliance assistance seminar. The seminar is for labor union officers, staff, and other interested parties in the Denver-St. Louis District Office’s jurisdiction. Topics to be covered include financial recordkeeping and union officer elections.
DATES/TIMES: Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 9:00am to 12:30pm (Central Time)
LOCATION: Virtual via Microsoft Teams

The topics covered will include: an overview of the LMRDA; financial recordkeeping; union officer elections; and labor union annual financial reports Forms LM-2, 3, and 4.

Compliance Assistance Seminars
The United States Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), and the Philadelphia-Pittsburgh District Office invites you to attend an in-person Compliance Assistance Seminar at the OLMS Philadelphia office. The educational seminars are designed for union officers, staff, and other interested union officials. The conferences are specifically useful for new officers and those who would like a refresher. The Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA) topics covered will be the same at each seminar and will include:
- Overview of the Office of Labor-Management Standards
- Overview of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959
- Financial Recordkeeping
- Union Officer Elections
- LM Reporting, focusing on the Form LM-2 and LM-3 Financial Reports
- Electronic Forms System (EFS)

The OLMS Philadelphia office is located in downtown Philadelphia, near the Comcast Center and a few blocks from City Hall. It is easily accessible by car or mass transit from SEPTA (Suburban Station) or PATCO (15th/16th & Locust Station). There are numerous parking garages within a short walk of the building. Please be aware that you must first check in with the building security desk on the ground floor (Market Street entrance), and with the U.S. Department of Labor security desk on the 21st floor.
