DESCRIPTION:        The seminars are designed for union officers, staff, and other interested union officials.  The topics covered will be the same at each seminar and will cover Financial Recordkeeping and Reporting, focused on the LM-2 and LM-3 Financial Reports. 

Attendance is free and limited, but attendees must register by completing the Philadelphia-Pittsburgh Registration Form.  You may submit more than one registration form if you have more than one officer who plans to attend.  Please complete your registration by Friday, February 14, 2024, to ensure we can accommodate you.

Compliance Assistance Seminars

 

The United States Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), and the Atlanta-Nashville District Office invites you to attend one of five Compliance Assistance Conferences being held in 2025. The educational conferences are designed for union officers, staff, and other interested union officials. The Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) topics covered will be the same as those presented by OLMS during the 2024 conferences. The conferences are specifically useful for individuals unable to attend last year’s conferences, to include new officers and those who would like a refresher. The conferences will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959
  • Financial Recordkeeping and Internal Controls
  • Union Officer Elections
  • LM Reporting and Electronic Filing System (EFS)
