Clerkship Opportunities with OALJ

The Office of Administrative Law Judges (OALJ) hires outstanding law school graduates through the Clerkship Program. 

Law Clerk positions are temporary positions at GS-11, Step 1 of the General Schedule. Law Clerks are term appointments in the excepted service, not to exceed 14 months.  After admission to a state bar, Law Clerks may be converted to a new appointment as an Attorney-Advisor for up to two years with possibility of extension to a third year.
