Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as
amended, an investigation was initiated in response to a
petition filed on November 13, 2019 by a state workforce office
on behalf of a group of workers at Ferrara Candy Company,
Creston, Iowa (Ferrara-Creston). The petition states "This is
a continuation of petition number 93241" to cover workers of
Ferrara-Crestone separated after November 24, 2019.
29 CFR 90.2 states "Group means three or more workers in
a firm or appropriate subdivision thereof."
Because the subject worker group consists of only two
workers, there is no group as defined by applicable regulation
and, therefore, the petition is deemed invalid. Consequently,
the investigation has been terminated.
