Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
December 18, 2017 by three workers on behalf of workers of
CenturyLink (formerly Embarq), Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid. The petitioning workers were separated from the subject
firm in 2012. Under 29 CFR 90.17(e)(1), workers whose separation
occurred more than a year prior to the petition date cannot be
covered by a certification issued for that petition. The petition
date of TA-W-93,376 is December 15, 2017. Consequently, the
investigation has been terminated.
