Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
(“Act”) an investigation was initiated in response to a petition
filed on September 11, 2017 by a company official on behalf of
workers of Motorola, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago,
Illinois.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid. Who may file a petition is outlined within Section
221(a)(1) of the Act, 19 U.S.C. § 2271 and within 19 CFR 90.11 of
the regulations. In this case the petition filer was not deemed to
be a valid petitioner type. Consequently, the investigation has
been terminated.
