Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
October 3, 2016, on behalf of workers of VAM USA, Youngstown,
Ohio. The petition did not include additional information or
supporting documents; the petitioner, however, did provide
additional information to the Department during the
investigation.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid. Per 29 CFR 90, "Group means three or more workers in a
firm or an appropriate subdivision thereof." The petitioner
confirmed that the worker group on whose behalf the petition was
filed consists of fewer than three workers. Consequently, the
investigation has been terminated.
