Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as
amended, an investigation was initiated in response to a
petition filed on May 19, 2016 by three workers on behalf of
workers of The News & Observer, a wholly owned subsidiary of
The McClatchy Company, Raleigh, North Carolina.
The worker group on whose behalf the petition was filed is
covered under an existing certification (TA-W-91,752P) which
expires on June 22, 2018. Consequently, the investigation has
been terminated.
