Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
May 6, 2016 by a State Workforce Agency on behalf of workers of
Cyrus Hosiery Inc., Vernon, California. The petition states that
the firm produced "socks, t-shirts, undergarments" and worker
separations occurred in February 2014 due to the closure of the
firm.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid. Pursuant to 29 CFR 90.17(e)(1), workers separated more
than one year before the date of the petition are excluded from
coverage of certification. Consequently, the investigation has
been terminated.
