Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
April 29, 2016 on behalf of workers of Schlumberger Technology
Corporation, Petroleum Group, Bakersfield, California.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid. A petitioner's separation date was more than one year
prior to the petition being signed. That petitioner is not part of
the petitioning group, leaving only two workers of the identified
petitioning group. The petitioners do not meet the definition of a
worker group under 29 CFR 90.2. Consequently, the investigation has
been terminated.

The other two petitioners are encouraged to file another
petition by finding another worker whose separation date is within
one year prior to the date of the signature of the new petition, or
has been threatened with separation, a company official, a state
workforce office, or American Job Center, a union representative,
or another other duly authorized representative on their behalf.
Signed in Washington, D.C. this 31st day of May 2016.
