Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
February 3, 2011 on behalf of workers of Wells Fargo/Wachovia,
Brushy Mountain Road, Wilkesboro, North Carolina. According to
the petition, the subject facility closed on June 18, 2010. The
petition stated that "Beginning 2006 a portion of adjustments was
outsources to . . . India . . . ."
On January 21, 2011, the Department issued a negative
determination applicable to the subject worker group: TA-W-74,635
(filed on September 17, 2010; Wells Fargo Bank, NA, Formerly
Wachovia Corporation, Brushy Mountain Road, Wilkesboro, North
Carolina). That petition alleged a shift of services to India.
No new information or change in circumstances is evident which
would result in a reversal of the Department's previous
determination. Consequently, further investigation would serve no
purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
