Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
January 10, 2011, on behalf of workers of Sheet Metal Workers
Union, Local 80, Southfield, Michigan.
The petition regarding the investigation has been deemed
invalid because the petitioners are not directly employed by Sheet
Metal Workers Union, Local 80, Southfield, Michigan, nor are they
an authorized representative. Rather, the investigation
established that the workers intended to file on behalf of workers
of another firm, and a new petition for that firm is anticipated.
Consequently, the investigation of this petition has been
terminated.
