Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
March 23, 2010 by the Plumber and Pipefitters Local 562 on behalf
of workers of Chrysler Group, LLC, St. Louis South Plant, Fenton,
Missouri (TA-W-73,770) and Chrysler Group, LLC, St. Louis North
Plant, Fenton, Missouri (TA-W-73,770A).
The Department issued a negative determination (TA-W-73,591)
applicable to Chrysler Group, LLC, St. Louis South Plant, Fenton,
Missouri (TA-W-73,770) group of workers on June 2, 2010. No new
information or change in circumstances is evident which would
result in a reversal of the Department's previous determination.
Production ceased at the South Plant in September 2008. The only
work done since the production shut down has been decommissioning
of the site. This work must be done on-site and can not be shifted
or imported from abroad. Consequently, further investigation would
serve no purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
The Chrysler Group, LLC, St. Louis North Plant, Fenton,
Missouri (TA-W-73,770A) worker group is covered under existing
petition (TA-W-73,591A) which expires on June 2, 2012.
Consequently, the investigation has been terminated.
Signed in Washington, D.C., this 16th day of August, 2010
