Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended,
an investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed on
June 17, 2009, by union officials from United Steel Workers locals
1190 and 1238, on behalf of workers of Severstal Wheeling, Inc.,
Wheeling, West Virginia.
The Department issued a negative determination (TA-W-71,561)
applicable to the petitioning group of workers on March 9, 2010.
No new information or change in circumstances is evident that would
result in a reversal of the Department's previous determination.
Consequently, further investigation would serve no purpose, and the
investigation has been terminated.
