Labor Surplus Area List for Fiscal Year 2002
PurposeTo announce the release of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2002 Labor Surplus Area (LSA) list. The LSA list is published on the following websites: www.doleta.gov and www.usworkforce.org. It will no longer be published in Area Trends. On December 31, 2001, the list was published in the Federal Register. Unfortunately, the publication contained errors including omission of the City of Miami, Florida; listed Port St. Lucie City, County of St. Lucie Florida in the wrong county and spelled Yuma Arizona as Luma. The FY 2002 list will be republished in the Federal Register, in the near future. The list included on the websites does not contain these errors.
