Directory of State Employment Security Agency (SESA) Internal Security (IS) Supervisors

 

  1. Purpose. To transmit instructions on how to access and make electronic updates to the Internal Security (IS) Supervisors Directory.

  2. Background. To facilitate communication and the exchange of information and best practices among IS units of the various States, ETA has periodically issued a Directory of State IS Supervisors. Since September 7, 1997, this directory has been made available via the Information Technology Support Center (ITSC) website where it is possible to make electronic entries or updates to the directory.

  3. Description. The directory contains names, office addresses, telephone numbers, FAX numbers and E-mail addresses of IS Supervisors. It should be useful to Regional Office, SESA staff, and others who are involved in IS functions and activities.

  4. Instructions for Electronic Entries or Updates. The procedures for making electronic entries and/or updating the directory follow:

    1. Go to the ITSC website located at http://WWW.ITSC.state.md.us

    2. Scroll down and click on personnel directories;

    3. Click on electronic name/address changes;

    4. Complete the requested information and;

    5. Click END

    If the title window does not read, State IS Supervisors, press the button to the right and a window will appear listing various positions. Scroll to the position that reads, State IS Supervisors and press enter. Upon entry of the requested information, press the send button, and your new/or updated information will be electronically forwarded to the ITSC. The webmaster will review and post data. Additions, deletions, and/or changes will appear on the website in approximately 24 hours.

    Each June the NO will issue a UIPL transmitting a paper version of the directory reflecting updates submitted by May 31 of the year.

  5. Instructions for accessing the IS Directory. 

    1. Go to the ITSC website; located at http://WWW.ITSC.state.md.us

    2. Scroll down and click on UI Program Information and click ENTER;

    3. Scroll down to Internal Security and click Directory of SESA IS Supervisors;

    4. An address list containing the names, addresses and etc. of all IS supervisorswill appear;

    5. View files or save according to your systems procedures.

  6. Action Required. SESA Administrators are requested to provide this information to appropriate staff.

  7. Inquiries. Direct any questions to the appropriate Regional Office.
