Dear Colleague:

Arizona, the Grand Canyon State and home of Indian cultures such as the Hopi, Apache and Navajo, is spreading out the welcome mat and inviting you to attend the NAUIAB Annual Conference to be held in Scottsdale, from June 13, l999 through June 17, l999. A review of the attached conference agenda proves once again that the Association continues the NAUIAB tradition of bringing together a group of nationally recognized speakers along with hands-on experts eager to share their experience and knowledge with those attending.

Accommodations are at the Marriott's Mountain Shadows Resort in Scottsdale. The resort, which is nestled between the Camelback and Mummy Mountains, has agreed to extend the special lodging rates before and after the conference dates based on the availability of rooms. Reservations should be made before May 15, l999, to guarantee the rate. Further information about the hotel reservations and discounts on airfare and transportation is in the attached materials. Registration and membership forms are also included.

Scottsdale, long know as the "West's Most Western Town," is a friendly, accessible and exciting city and offers you an opportunity to explore the diverse Western culture, history, and breathtaking majestic surroundings. The warm hospitality will begin on Sunday evening with a get-acquainted reception at the Marriott Resort.

The NAUIAB Board of Governors urges you to review the proposed agenda. As in the past, this year's conference is an educational bonanza rich in informative workshops and plenary sessions. The conference offers an economical opportunity to receive an in-debt educational experience on a variety of topics and issues which are of timely concern to those involved in unemployment insurance appeals. We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona!

Sincerely,

Vincent C. Martorano

President, NAUIAB
