Experience Rating Index for Rate Years 1991 and 1992

  1. Purpose. To transmit the Experience Rating Index (ERI) for States for Rate Years 1991 and 1992.

  2. Reference. Manual Transmittal Letter No. 1460 and Unemployment Insurance Program Letter (UIPL) No. 3-92.

  3. Background. The referenced UIPL published the ERI for Rate Years 1988 - 1990. Attachment I shows the ERI by State for Rate Years 1988 - 1992. Attachments II and III show the ERI and the individual components involved in the calculations for States for Rate Years 1991 and 1992, respectively, and are a continuation of the series. Attachment IV indicates how the Experience Rating Index is calculated.
