Purpose. To transmit to States instructions for preparation of the JTPA Annual Service Delivery Area (JASDA) Report (ETA 9045).
Reference. TEIN 6-93 and Changes 1 and 2.
Background. Since the JTPA Annual Status Report (JASR) was
discontinued 6/30/93, the Department of Labor is issuing new
annual reporting requirements for SDA programs funded under
Title II of the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA).
(SDA termination data, formerly captured on the JASR, is now
reported via the Standardized Program Information Report (SPIR)
system.)
OMB Approval and Reporting Burden. The JASDA report requirements are pending approval by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) according to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980. Upon receipt of final OMB approval, States will be notified to implement this report and will be provided with the OMB Approval No. and expiration date.
Reporting Instructions. The Governor (including single-SDA States) will submit a JASDA report listing selected Title II-A/C information for EACH SDA in the State, as specified in the instructions for the preparation of the JASDA report. This report initially will be used to capture these required data for Program Year 1993, ending June 30, 1994.
Action Required. State Liaisons are requested to distribute the attached instructions to all officials within the State who need such information to implement the JASDA report requirements.
