Additional information may be obtained from KRA Corporation, 1010 Wayne Avenue, Suite 850, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, or by calling the JTPA Conference Manager Pam Milan at 301/495-1591.
An optional conference pre-session, "Occupational Coding Made Easy and Accurate! (Training-of-Trainers)" may be of special interest to certain individuals. It provides hands-on instruction and practice in how to facilitate learning for individuals new to the OES and CIP coding systems used in the SPIR. The session provides an overview of the training plan and instructional design for a day-long training event. It is also offered as a dual concurrent workshop during the conference.
The optional pre-session begins the morning of Day 1 for each conference. The actual conference follows a 1/2-day/full-day/1/2-day schedule at each location; that is, each begins at 1:00 p.m. of Day 1 and ends at 12:00 noon of Day 3.
Action Required. State JTPA and Worker Adjustment Liaisons are requested to disseminate information about these upcoming conferences to all appropriate and interested parties in their States. SDAs, SSAs, State Dislocated Worker Units and Section 401/402 grantees will receive a brochure directly from KRA, and additional brochures also may be obtained by calling KRA.
