Statement by U.S. Secretary of Labor Acosta on April Jobs Report

“Today’s jobs report announced a 3.6% unemployment rate, the lowest unemployment rate since 1969.

Court Orders Ohio Contractor to Comply with U.S. Department of Labor Citations, Pay Penalties, and Immediately Abate Safety Hazards

CINCINNATI, OH – The U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has ordered Casey Bortles – a roofing contractor based in Holland, Ohio – to immediately comply with the final orders resulting from uncontested citations. U.S. Department of Labor Investigation Results in 11 Louisiana Restaurants Paying $461,754 in Back Wages, Damages to 141 Employees
