Buffalo was the final stop in Secretary Scalia’s three-city tour, which included Cleveland, Ohio, and Erie, Pennsylvania, where he highlighted the Administration’s efforts to get Americans back to work safely.

The Secretary and Congressman toured Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and held a roundtable discussion with educators and manufacturers. Secretary Scalia and Congressman Guthrie also visited Summit Polymers to meet with employees and tour the facility.

WASHINGTON – On Sept. 14, 2020, the U.S. Department of Labor will host, “Advancing Compliance Solutions for Today’s Workplace, Two Years and Counting,” a summit showcasing the Department’s ongoing efforts to help employers comply with federal labor laws and inform workers about their rights through its modernized tools and employer recognition awards programs. The event will be both virtual and in-person.
