West Virginia to receive funding to aid recovery after severe storms

Use of Funds: This grant will create about 200 temporary jobs for eligible dislocated workers to assist with clean up and recovery efforts as a result of the severe storms and flooding in West Virginia. This NEG has been approved for up to $2,000,000, with $670,000 to be released initially. These funds will be used to provide for temporary employment on projects to assist with clean up, demolition, repair, renovation and reconstruction of destroyed public structures, facilities and lands within the affected communities, as well as for the delivery of humanitarian aid and safety assistance, as needed.
