Use of Funds: This NEG was originally approved in early 2014, with $850,680 initially released. Today's award increases the total funding to the full approved amount of $1,510,320. This incremental funding will provide for the continued provision of "wrap around" and supportive services to the impacted workers who are eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), as well as for the full array of employment-related services allowable under a NEG to the impacted workers who are not TAA-eligible, including career counseling, job search assistance, and supportive services, such as child care and transportation.
