U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration to host free workshop in Kansas City for small and medium employers

Kansas City – The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) will hold a free workshop on Wednesday, September 26 in Kansas City, Missouri to help small businesses understand pension and health plan administration.

EBSA will present an overview of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the basics of pension and health plan administration. EBSA also will discuss the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) along with an overview of the agency’s Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program (VFCP).
