Advisory Committee On Negotiated Rulemaking To Hold Public Meetings

The U. S. Department of Labor’s ERISA Section 3(40) Negotiated Rulemaking Advisory Committee will hold public meetings on October 13 and 14 to continue its discussion of the process and criteria to be used in developing a proposed rule on whether an employee benefit plan is established or maintained under a collective bargaining agreement.
The committee meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end about 5:00 p.m. each day at the Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room C-5515 (Conference Room 1-A), Washington, D. C. All committee meetings are open to the public. Minutes of the meeting will be available through PWBA’s Public Disclosure Facility, Room N5638, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.
Members of the public may submit 15 copies of written statements for the record by October 6 to Ellen Goodwin, Office of the Solicitor, Plan Benefits Security Division, U. S. Department of Labor, Room N4611, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.
