Charmaine Davis

Charmaine Davis joined the Women’s Bureau in 2016 and has served as the Director of Regional Programs and Operations since 2022, leading efforts to build efficient workforce development ecosystems that strengthen communities and meet the needs of businesses across the country. Under her regional leadership, the Women's Bureau has provided employers and external organizations technical assistance to recruit and retain a resilient and skilled workforce. Ms. Davis’s work has been instrumental in creating pathways to good jobs for women facing significant barriers to employment, ensuring they have access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

Ms. Davis has over a decade of prior experience organizing and mobilizing working-class communities. Before joining the Women’s Bureau, Ms. Davis was the Georgia State Director for 9to5, National Association of Working Women, where she successfully advanced policies that support working families.

Ms. Davis's work is driven by her belief in the power of strong families, resilient communities, and inclusive economic growth to foster opportunity and well-being for all Americans.
