Tiffany Boiman

Tiffany Boiman is serving as the Acting Director of the Women’s Bureau, a dual role alongside her the role of Deputy Director, having joined the agency more than a decade ago and serving first as its Director of the Office of Policy and Programs. Tiffany brings more than 15 years of dedicated research, policy and programming experience on a host of women’s education, employment and economic security issues. She joined the Women’s Bureau from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, and prior to joining IWPR, Tiffany served as the Director of Policy and Programs for Women Work!, the largest national network of education and job training programs for women. An expert on both state and federal policy and programs, she also worked at the National Governors Association, Center for Best Practices, where she provided research and policy analysis to state officials and gubernatorial staff on human services and workforce development topics. In addition, she also spent more than five years at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, researching and evaluating federal workforce development, human services and education programs at the request of Congress. She has been an active community volunteer, serving for several years as a Girl Scout troop leader and as an appointed commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission for Women between 2017 and 2022. Tiffany holds a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
