Charlene Briggs
Charlene Briggs serves as the Administrative Officer for the Women’s Bureau. She joins the Department of Labor with 40 years of federal government administrative management experience. Charlene most recently worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) where she served as the Deputy Executive Officer responsible for Resource Management and Contracts.
Prior to joining HRSA, Charlene served as the Administrative Officer for the Criminal Division, Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Section of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for seventeen years. At DOJ, she was principal advisor to the Chief on all administration and policy matters, including all facets of federal administration and finance for the successful prosecution of international narcotic cases across the United States.
In her spare time Charlene enjoys volunteering, working in her yard and spending time with her two children and family.
