1E00 Action When AAP Is Not Current

After receiving the desk audit submission, an Investigator first determines whether the AAP is current, that is, whether the AAP was effective as of the date of the Scheduling Letter. If it is not, the Investigator will contact the contractor and request immediate submission of the current AAP. If the contractor fails to submit the AAP, the Investigator must recommend the issuance of a SCN. Investigators can find the procedures for issuing a SCN in Chapter 8, Section D.
