The Department of Labor (DOL) supports employment and training programs to improve the employment prospects of American workers so that they may obtain and keep good jobs.
The Chief Evaluation Office works with the Employment and Training Administration, the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, and other DOL agencies to conduct rigorous research to generate information on the effectiveness of employment and training programs, policies, and strategies. This research supports DOL in continuous improvement efforts in the design and implementation of evidence-based programs and policies.
