Federal Tech Day 2023
On May 18, 2023, the U.S. Department of Labor presented Federal Tech Day 2023 in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Chief Information Officer Council.
More than 3,000 people attended Federal Tech Day – in-person and virtually – for an interactive showcase celebrating the innovative technology developed by federal agencies to help deliver their program's mission.
The Purpose of Federal Tech Day
Tech Day brought together federal agencies to display innovative technology, build inter-agency partnerships and collaboration, and improve staff technology readiness. These exhibits will offer interactive and educational demonstrations that showcase the federal government’s Impact through Innovation.
The technologies and solutions developed by federal agencies have a direct impact not only on agency mission outcomes, but on the lives of America’s public. Development of this technology is a collaborative process dependent on the sharing of ideas, challenges, and discoveries.
The Federal Tech Day Experience
This tech expo featured hands-on exhibits from the Department of Labor and 13 other federal agencies, keynote speeches by a White House representative and federal agency leadership, and presentations on trending topics in technology. Attendees were able to:
