You may file a complaint with the Workplace Equality Compliance Officer under the Department’s Harassing Conduct Policy, in accordance with DLMS 6-300. Filing a complaint under the Department’s Harassing Conduct Policy, however, is not the same thing as filing an EEO complaint with the Civil Rights Center in accordance with 29 C.F.R. 1614.
Workplace Equality Compliance Officers cannot accept EEO complaints. If you wish to file an EEO complaint, contact a DOL EEO counselor or the Civil Rights Center by using the following link: National Office EEO Counseling and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Staff
Workplace Equality Compliance Officers also facilitate the processing of certain reasonable accommodation requests (for disability/medical conditions and sincerely held religious beliefs, practices or observances). To initiate a request for accommodation for disability/medical conditions (only), contact the Civil Rights Center’s Reasonable Accommodation Resource Center (CRC/RARC) via rarc.info@dol.gov, and appropriate requests will be forwarded to the WECO.
