Our international grants support projects to combat some of the most abusive labor practices, including the use of child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking in global supply chains. ILAB-funded projects also promote trade partners’ compliance with the labor requirements of U.S. trade agreements and preference programs – helping to ensure a fair global playing field for workers in the United States and around the world.

Strengthening Civil Society to Protect and Advocate for Migrant Workers01/01/2024 - 06/30/2028 The Strengthening Civil Society to Protect and Advocate for Migrant Workers project will provide civil society with the tools and training to protect migrant workers, particularly Mexican nationals participating in U.S. Temporary Foreign Worker programs, by supporting fair recruitment initiatives, building awareness of labor rights, and increasing the use of formal mechanisms for workers to exercise those rights. |
