The 2019-2020 Health Quality and Access Brief is the first report of its kind, summarizing information collected in the NAWS Quality of and Access to Health Care Supplement. ETA developed this supplement in collaboration with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This brief describes crop workers’ experiences with health care and generates data that federal and state agencies need to plan service delivery for migrant and seasonal crop workers and their families. Findings from the supplement cover health care services used in the last 12 months for illness, injury, and dental care; health care services their spouses and children used; how crop workers and their families paid for health care services; and barriers crop workers and their families face to accessing care.
