To notify the States of the availability of a new publication -- Job Training Partnership Act 1996 Program Statistics (SPIR Data Book for Program Year 1996).

To provide adjusted 1998 Lower Living Standard Income Level (LLSIL) tables for use in determining needs-related payments.

To provide copies of ETA Form 9042, Petition for NAFTA Transitional Adjustment Assistance, and the Spanish version, ETA Form 9042-1, Solicitud de Asistencia Para Ajuste Ocupacional Bajo NAFTA.
