To transmit a correction to the Federal Schedule of Remuneration for the UCX program based on the January 1, 2002, military pay increase. This issuance corrects a typographical error in the Instructions (item 3) of UIPL No. 11-02 dated January 29, 2002. The instructions should state that the Federal Schedule of Remuneration shall apply to "first claims" filed "on or after" April 7, 2002.

(1) To inform the workforce investment system that, as of February 1, 2002, the management of the Workforce Excellence Network will be transferred from the U.S. Department of Labor to the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB); and (2) to inform the workforce investment system that the U.S. Department of Labor continues to be a partner of the Workforce Excellence Network.
