a) inform service providers of the APP performance goals and
b) pursue performance strategies related to the goals.

To transmit the subject computation for State Employment Security Agency (SESA) usage in computing minimum weekly DUA amounts for all major disasters declared during the third quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 1998.

To emphasize the importance of States addressing Year 2000 issues affecting the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) system, provide guidance on Year 2000 compliance, and seek the assistance of States in identifying and overcoming potential problems.

To announce there will be no changes in the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) electronic reporting formats (i.e., ES and JTPA) for Year/Date in connection with Year 2000 compliance, with the exception of JTPA SPIR data reports.

To advise State Employment Security Agencies (SESAs) of the distribution of training materials for BPC investigators.

To alert State Public Employment Service Agencies that the Office of the Management and Budget (OMB) has extended the approval to use subject forms.

To transmit a list of military addresses for SESAs' use in sending notices of claim filing, and subsequent notices of monetary and nonmonetary determinations to the appropriate branch of the military.

To provide SESAs with guidelines for the annual release of UI BAM program data for CY 1997.
