(A) To rescind and replace General Administration Letter (GAL) No. 8-94 to (1) correct the filing of discrimination complaints with the Department of Labor, Directorate of Civil Rights described in the Background section of GAL 8-94 and (2) to make minor changes to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved ETA Form 8429 and the instructions. (B) To add CFR Parts 34.24, 34.42 and 34.43 to the list of references.

To transmit estimated employer contribution rates for 1993 and 1994.

To announce the use of an automated DD Form 214 by the Department of the Army (DOA), and the schedule for implementation of the automated DD Form 214.

To interpret and clarify the method to be employed to calculate economically disadvantaged under the Section 401 Indian and Native American Program (INA).

To advise State JTPA Liaisons of the required JTPA program reports for PY 1994 and to provide information on the Annual JTPA Fall MIS Conferences.

To inform you of a Department of Education symposium Creating a Literate Future: A National Forum on Strengthening Policies and Partnerships for Native American Adult and Occupational Education which will be held October 13-15, 1994 in St. Paul, Minnesota

To advise State Employment Security Agencies that new procedures for distribution of the Interstate Claimstaking Handbook and the Local Office Directory have been implemented.

To announce the results of the UI Quality Appraisals conducted for FY 1994.
