Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – On May 2, 2023 SHRM launched its 2023 Disability Inclusion Pledge. Developed in coordination with ODEP as part of their Alliance, this new initiative encourages human resource professionals and other business executives to commit to fostering a culture of inclusivity and provides a suite of tools and resources to help them implement related policies and best practices.
Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) – On May 9, 2023 in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, PBATS announced the launch of a new mental health awareness public service announcement (PSA) campaign. Developed in collaboration with ODEP and Major League Baseball, the PSA aims to raise awareness about the importance of worker mental well-being and provide resources for anyone in need of support.
