Brian Pifer
Brian A. Pifer is currently serving as Acting Deputy Director for the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS). The OLMS deputy director is responsible for administering OLMS programs and operations, nationwide. Mr. Pifer began his career with the Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs in 1994, before joining OLMS as an investigator in June 2003. He was promoted to supervisory investigator in 2006 and then to District Director of the Cleveland District Office in 2008. He became District Director of the Cincinnati-Cleveland District Office in 2013. Mr. Pifer served as Chief of the Division of Enforcement beginning January 2019 and then became Director of Field Operations in June 2020. He assumed his current acting position in January 2024. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hiram College.
