Nikkilia Lu

Nikkilia Lu serves as the Women’s Bureau chief of staff. Most recently, Nikkilia worked as the Pennsylvania director for a nonprofit organization working to create a first-of-its-kind economic and racial justice-centered bicameral governance plan for House and Senate Democrats in Pennsylvania's General Assembly. In 2020, she served as deputy state director for President Joseph R. Biden's campaign in Pennsylvania.

Nikkilia also served as the Western PA political director for Local 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union where she worked on policies and campaigns to improve the livelihoods of janitors, security guards and food service workers. Nikkilia proudly served on the board of directors for the Women & Girls Foundation and is a graduate of Coro Pittsburgh’s Women in Leadership program.
